Der Sommer 2020 ist gezeichnet vom Lock-down und geschlossenen Grenzen. Der Jubiläums Baltic Sea Circle fällt damit ins Wasser. Die Veranstalter vom Superlative Adventure Club haben den Start ins nächste Jahr verschoben. Am 19. Juni 2021 soll nun das Rennen um die Ostee beginnen. Russland ist momentan vom Robert Kock Institut als Risikogebiet eingestuft worden. Es ist fraglich ob sich dies bis zum nächsten Sommer ändert. Es bleibt dann noch die Alternativroute über Finnland. Wir warten was die Zeit bringt und basteln weiter am Auto.
Um die Wartezeit zu verkürzen hat der SAC folgende Länderaufgaben verteilt, die bis zum Start der Rallye erledigt werden müssen:
1. Germany – All over the news: 5 PointsGet your team and car in your local newspaper or TV show.
2. Denmark – Jack up Danish Style: 5 PointsA picture of your rally vehicle just standing on LEGO blocks – at least 10 cm high.
3. Sweden – Cars & Coffee Culture: 5 PointsEnjoy a cup of coffee next to your rally car on a camping chair at an Ikea parking lot.
4. Norway – Live life like Leif: 5 PointsDress like a real Viking and do some stand-up paddling on the next pond.
5. Finland – Finished sociability: 5 PointsSauna visit of the whole rally team together with a conifer and teddy bear.
6. Russia – The Hacker: 5 PointsHolding U+262D in front of your U+1F4BB.
7. Estonia – King Kiiking: 5 PointsThe team captain stands together with 2 blondes on a swing.
8. Latvia – Ode To Joy: 5 PointsThe team sings the European anthem with a folklore choir.
9. Lithuania – Hang out and relax: 5 PointsThe co-pilot hangs on a basketball hoop.
10. Poland – small but powerful: 5 PointsYour rally car towed by a Fiat Polski.
